
Letting out
Here are the instructions for letting out or making the clothes bigger.
Letting out Trousers, Jeans, Skirts, Jumpsuits - (Waist and Hip)
1- Turn your pants inside out and check the waistband and hip to ensure they have an extra seam allowance.
2-Check for extra fabric in the seam allowance at the centre back of the waist and hip.
3-If there is enough seam allowance, we require your body measurements for the waist and hip. 4-For garment waist and hip needs (letting out fabric).
5-To measure your waist, wrap a tape measure around the smallest part of your waist, with just enough ease to move, and note the measurements in centimetres.
6-To measure your hip, wrap a tape measure around the fullest part of your hip, with just enough ease to move, and note the measurements in centimetres.
7-We will follow your body measurements and make the waist and hip of your trousers bigger (letting out fabric).
Letting out Trousers, Jeans or Jumpsuits - (Legs)
1-Turn your pants inside out and check the trouser leg seams, check the out-seam (from the waistband to the hem) and in-seam (from crotch to hem) to ensure they have an extra seam allowance.
2-If there is enough seam allowance, we require your body measurements for the thigh, knee, and ankle.
3-For all garment leg needs (letting out fabric), we only need one leg measurement.
4-To measure your thigh, wrap a tape measure around the fullest part of your thigh, close to the crotch line of the trousers, and note the measurements in centimetres.
5-To measure your knee, wrap a tape measure around the fullest part of the knee and note the measurements in centimetres.
6-To measure your ankle, wrap a tape measure around the fullest part of the ankle and note the measurements in centimetres.
7-We will follow your body measurements and make your trouser legs bigger (letting out fabric).
Letting out Coats, Jackets, Waistcoats, Shirts, Dresses, and Jumpsuits (side seam or Body)
1-Turn your garments inside out and check the side seam or darts to ensure they have an extra seam allowance.
2-If your garments have lining and you cannot see the seam allowance, open a few stitches of the lining to see the inside of your coat, jacket, shirt, or dress.
3-If there is enough seam allowance, we require your body measurements for the bust, waist, and hip.
4-To measure your bust, wrap a tape measure around your bust, letting the tape measure sit comfortably (not too tight or loose) with just enough ease to move, and note the measurements in centimetres (letting out fabric).
5-To measure your waist, wrap a tape measure around your waist, letting the tape measure sit comfortably (not too tight or loose) with just enough ease to move, and note the measurements in centimetres (letting out fabric).
6-To measure your hip, wrap a tape measure around your hip, letting the tape measure sit comfortably (not too tight or loose) with just enough ease to move, and note the measurements in centimetres (letting out fabric).
7-You can also let us know how many centimetres you want to make your garments bigger or wider in any part. Write all the measurements in centimetres on paper and pack them with the garment for collection.
Letting out (Sleeves) for Coats, Jackets, Shirts, Dresses, Jumpsuits
1-We can let out your sleeves from the back seam or underarm seam to the cuff, depending on the design and style of your garments.
2-Turn your garments inside out and check the sleeve seams to ensure they have an extra seam allowance.
3-If your garments have lining and you cannot see the seam allowance, open a few stitches of the lining to see the inside of your coat, jacket, shirt, or dress.
4-If there is enough seam allowance, we require your arm measurements for the bicep, elbow, forearm, and wrist.
5-To measure your bicep, wrap a tape measure around your bicep, letting the tape measure sit comfortably (not too tight or loose) with just enough ease to move, and note the measurements in centimetres (letting out fabric).
6-To measure your elbow, wrap a tape measure around your elbow, letting the tape measure sit comfortably (not too tight or loose) with just enough ease to move, and note the measurements in centimetres (letting out fabric).
7-To measure your forearm, wrap a tape measure around your forearm, letting the tape measure sit comfortably (not too tight or loose) with just enough ease to move, and note the measurements in centimetres (letting out fabric).
8-To measure your wrist, wrap a tape measure around your wrist, letting the tape measure sit comfortably (not too tight or loose) with just enough ease to move, and note the measurements in centimetres (letting out fabric).
9-You can also let us know how many centimetres you want to make your garment sleeves bigger or wider in any part of the sleeves. Write all the measurements in centimetres on paper and pack them with the garment for collection.
